Back in college, I used to have a regular comic strip in the school paper. Good times, good times. Now I decided I’ll be reviving my old comic strip called Role Models. It was a project that never took flight because of my work schedule. Now that I’ve submitted my resignation, I’ll be getting plenty of time to work on this.

Role Models is about the life of 2 good friends Kyle & Roxy (based from me and my good friend, Karla) because we always talk about how our lives should be a comedy sitcom.

There will be a separate page for the comics and the first strip would be out on December.

The padding cap with the goggles just screams awesome.

I finally have a slight idea on how I want my dream house to look like!

It’s a simple design for a small house and it’s perfect for me. It has a very nice interior and a roof deck to boot! I figured I don’t want a big house like other people dream of becaI won’t be able to maximize it. A compact house with a good design and a better interior would suffice.

What I find har to believe is what it’s packing inside:  a foyer, an open-concept kitchen-living-dining area, four bedrooms, two baths, a utilities area, a large storage room and a secondary suite with a full kitchen, bath, laundry and closet. Topping it all off is a rooftop patio.

So… 23 years years ago at this exact date, I was born.

I’ve been getting a lot of crap about my birthday since I was a kid because it falls on a very somber holiday here–All Saints Day. It’s the day where everyone in the Phil is supposed to visit their dead relatives in the cemetery. Which is the reason why i’ve never celebrated on my actual birthday.

When I was a kid, I thought I was the only one in the world who was born on November 1 because everyone I met made a big deal about the date. I keep up with the jokes by stating that when i was born, all the saints died.

So the other day, lonely lil me watched 500 Days of Summer and Astroboy back-to-back all by myself in Glorietta. All I’ve got to say is that both movies were brilliant.

I love how 500 days was made that it wasn’t really a love story. I love both of the main characters. And Astroboy was also so nice that I watched it twice. The 2nd time, I was with friends who seeing it for the first time.

October 30, 2009 was a Hands Down day for so many reasons that I wont even explain here. =)

Last night, I had an early Halloween/Birthday party with my close friends. Since people won’t be available during those holidays (October 31 and November 1), I had the celebration a week earlier.

I had loads of fun and got really awesome gifts but the most important is that a lot of people took an effort to go to my house since almost everyone’s from Q.C. and Makati while I’m all the way down South. I’ve never attended a halloween party so it’s nice to finally put my zombie character to good use.

Cool shoes. Cool beans.

Again, probably not available in the 3rd world. Still, I might just have someone make me one. The pink one and the blue& white shoes are heart.

I so want this for my room!
