Work In Progress, or simply WIP, is a weekly webcomic done by a good artist/lawyer-in-the-making friend of mine, Teddy Pavon, and his friend. To be honest, I don’t quite know what the story is yet since it was just recently launched a couple of days ago. The first 10 pages are a cliffhanger though, so I’m hooked and curious.
It updates a few pages every Wednesdays so I suggest to bookmark it and keep checking back. So whattaya waiting for?! Click on the image to visit the website!

Ooops. I’ve been so busy with so many things that I forgot to greet everyone a happy friggin’ new year! 2009 sucked so much so I’m hoping for a better 2010.
By the way, I’m part of a group exhibit by InK at 1/of Gallery, Serendra at The Fort. Exhibit is open until January 9. =)
I’ve been having problems logging on to my entire website the past week because of some shitty error in my laptop. Thus the lack of updates recently. The worst part is I forgot my passwords so I can’t log in on other computers. But it’s working now, and I’ll post new updates tomorrow.

Kris Allen’s debut album out on November 17 in the U.S. Since I’m a fanboy, it’ll be the first physical CD I’ll be purchasing in 7 years.

The photo above shows the street where I pass by every morning on my way to work. And, yeah, the black dot you see in the middle right of the picture is indeed someone’s head.
The storm has stopped for now, but according to the news, it’s still gonna rain tomorrow. It’s agood thing our neighborhood is placed on somewhat higher ground than most places.

This has to be the most shocking death since Heath Ledger (at least, for me). It’s never a good feeling to wake up to news of a famous person’s deadth. I may not be a huge fan of Michael Jackson, mostly because of his controversial and creepy later years, but there’s no doubt that his music has been a part of many people’s lives.
He is an icon. I have listened to a few of his songs and must admit that they are timeless classics. Rest in peace, MJ.

According to photographer Joshua Hoffine, “My images are not photoshop collages.I use photoshop to finesse details and to adjust color and contrast for printing.I use friends and family members as actors and crew.Everyone works for free. We do it for fun.”
I’m not a huge fan of Horror Photography simply because I’m a big sissy boy, but these photographs are amazing! Add the fact that none of the effects and props were added in using an image-editing program, big props to Mr. Hoffine!
As for my own childhood fear…

Clowns are one of the scariest things on the planet. I will scream like a banshee if I see one coming towards me. Anyhoo… click on the photos to see more of Joshua hoffine’s work!

To my photographer friends! This is going to be an awesome event… because I’m there. Lol. Yeah, I’ll be part of the staff or one the alalays there. But seriously, it’ll be great because there will be free lectures and an afterparty.
You only need to purchase the latest issue of DPP (Rock On!) because you’ll get the ID passes inside.

June 21st is Kris Allen’s birthday, y’all! Because I’m a huge fanboy, this is a huge thing. He turns 24 today.
Can’t wait to see his concert next year as I will make sure I get frontrow tickets. Don’t forget to donate money to my Kris Allen Concert Fund. In the meantime, if you’re a Kris Allen fan, you can get updates on his official fansite at KrisAllenation.com. I go there frequently, it’s not even funny anymore.
I’m currently not an active member of this group, though I plan to be more active from now on. This awesome organization is now accepting new members for this year of 2009!
